The week was full of experiences. To begin with, I started work at Wooga and it was a dive into the deep end. Monday morning I was introduced to the entire company during the Monday Morning Stand-Up, and then it was off to the races. I met my team, coordinated with other departments and then started outlining objectives. By years end I need to increase our Daily Returning Users by 50% - no small task but I am up to the challenge. The week was also full of new experiences like riding my new bike around Berlin, getting lost and then finding my way. I've found a routine of ridding to the gym, working out, getting ready and then heading to work about an hour or two before everyone else. This helps me get out no later then 5 so I can spend a few hours with Logan before bedtime.
By weeks end we were all exhausted. Regardless we had to continue looking for new flats. Our search took us to the east side of Berlin where we would see some wonderful places but we didn't love the neighborhoods as much as the area of our temporary housing. This experience really helped us learn more about Berlin as a whole and the different Kiez' (neighborhoods) in the city.
As Sunday rolled around we found ourselves trying to decide what we would want to do first. Since Logan is so into his Legos we thought it would be best to head to the Lego Discovery Centre. Logan wasn't the only one who had a blast as all the other Dads were clamoring to have the best Lego racer down the track. I'm not surewho that part of the museum was actually designed for. Afterwards we headed to a proper German restaurant for some Leberkaese and a beer - Logan had sparkling apple juice and boy was he excited about it!
